Here are a few pics from GaGa’s ‘Bad Romance’ video. Kinda knew she would wear something from McQueen’s latest. She is adventurous. You know, I admire her for that.
Ungaro Goes Crazy
Lindsay Lohan, better known for her hard partying and rehab stints was chosen by Ungaro manager? (that guy who’s name I’ve forgotten) to be the creative directore for the line. Lindsay has certainly afforded Ungaro a kind of exposure I’m not sure they would have been able to achieve otherwise. They’ve certainly gotten more air time here in North America. As far as the Spring 2010 showing, nothing new, nothing groundbreaking, same old silhouette, just kind of blah and uninspired. The heart shaped pasties, among other things, seemed quite backward rather than progressive, or at least not in the vein of the Spring showings. It’s kind of hard in this day and age to make clothes seem outdated when there’s so much variety, but Estrella and Lindsay somehow managed to do just that.
With that being said, the white cut out jacket, quite good.
I Don’t Know About This
Perhaps I don’t know anything, but Miu Miu Spring 2010 RTW didn’t do it for me this time. While there were hints of genius; the purses and flowy dresses, all the birds (or whatever they are) … incomprehensible? Kind of harsh, but not my style. That being said, the silhouettes can be appreciated.
